Our own secure warehouses
At GrupaMar, we have our own warehouses located in the Canary Islands (Gran Canaria, Tenerife) and the Balearic Islands (Mallorca, Menorca and Ibiza).
Our warehouses have extensive security measures in place to ensure that goods are stored in the best possible conditions: strict security procedures, access controls, permanent video surveillance cameras and fire protection systems.
Computerised warehouse management and agility
We use our own powerful computer system, capable of managing any distribution using the FIFO system or the one we use most, which is by expiry date. The system is completely flexible and can be integrated with any other computer system, thus avoiding duplication of tasks. The customer defines the information parameters they need to receive.
Order preparation or picking is carried out based on the order received in our system, which validates the stock and sends the order preparation sheet to the warehouse via a radio frequency and barcode system. The order is then prepared and placed in the dispatch area.
Traceability of goods
Our warehouses have Wi-Fi coverage, a labelling process (including weighing and volumetric measurement) for all packages upon receipt, and label scanning every time the goods change status or location. This allows for permanent control and total traceability of the goods.
In the Customer Area, by logging in with their username and password, our customers can check warehouse stock, request services or consult delivery notes for goods.
Health Registration Number
Food industry
Our warehouses have a Health Registration Number
and can therefore store goods from the food sector.
GrupaMar is highly specialised in the food sector and distributes daily to both large retailers and point-to-point deliveries. We offer widespread distribution throughout the islands.
TSF. Temporary Storage Facility
In the Canary Islands, we have customs authorisation for a Temporary Storage Facility (TSF) in Las Palmas and Tenerife, which means we can provide temporary storage and transit services for non-EU goods.
Capillary Distribution
We carry out capillary distribution of orders using our own large fleet of lorries on the islands.
In the Canary Islands, we can guarantee that all orders received before 12 noon will be delivered in less than 24 hours to the area where the regulatory warehouse is located.
