Facilities
To carry out our logistics activities at GrupaMar Las Palmas, we have a total warehouse area of 12,000 m2 located in the port area, where we operate a newly built 8,000 m2 warehouse equipped with 16 loading/unloading docks for containers and 15 for lorries and vans, allowing for excellent cross-docking operations. It also has an outdoor area for transhipping goods of special dimensions.
The premises are authorised by Customs/AEAT AEAT as a Temporary Storage Facility (TSF) and Authorised Location for Export Goods (LAME), which allows us to receive goods and offer temporary storage and transit services for non-EU goods.
GrupaMar Las Palmas has a Health Registration number, which means we can manage the transport, warehousing and distribution of foodstuffs.
The warehouse is equipped with shelving manufactured in accordance with FEM standards, thus guaranteeing the perfect storage of goods. We use forklifts and electric pallet trucks to handle goods safely. We also have Wi-Fi coverage throughout the facilities, which, together with our radio frequency readers, allows for permanent control of all shipments.
At GrupaMar Las Palmas, we have a large fleet of lorries, vans and transport equipment with different characteristics and capacities, which can be adapted to the delivery needs of each customer’s goods.
